Boom Boom Brown is a former boxer who was forced to retire due to having his jaw broken in a prize fight, becoming a blacksmith. He became a good friend of Matt Hawk since he helped him prove his innocence when framed for robbery. He also became aware of Hawk's identity as the Two-Gun Kid.
