History

Boromir was a winged horse created by the Beyonder when he had visited the home of Stewart Cadwall. The Beyonder was looking to learn and understand the ways of the world and Stewart abused his naïveté and asked him to provide him with power and became Thundersword. He did so and Boromir was created for him to use as a flying steed. Boromir disappeared when Thundersword was disarmed by Captain America and Iron Man and reverted back to his powerless human form.

• Like many other Winged Horses (including Aragorn, Elendil, Valinor, Strider, and Galadriel), Boromir's name is borrowed from the books of J.R.R. Tolkien.
