History
Bounce-Boxes were device used by Mirage to escape her father Oblivion. They allowed her to travel through time and dimensions. Iceman discovered one in the rubble of the house lived in by his parents' neighbors who he knew as the Smiths after it was attacked by the aliens Idiot and White Light, and the box teleported him to the New York City of 1942 where he encountered his parents. Kali arrived with an army to look for Mirage after detecting the signal from the box. Iceman tried to protect his parents from the attack but his father was killed.[1]
