History
Won by Groot on Sin, the Bowie became the new ship of the Guardians of the Galaxy following the loss of the Ryder.[1] When the Guardians of the Galaxy prepared to confront the rogue Olympians on Daedalus 5, the Bowie was struck by lightning and destroyed by Zeus in an attempt to kill the Guardians that were on board as the opening act of aggression of the battle.[2]

Marvel Cinematic Universe (Earth-199999)[]Following their move to Knowhere, the Guardians of the Galaxy began using the Bowie as their primary ship. Mantis and Drax used the Bowie to secretly travel to Earth to abducted Kevin Bacon as a Christmas gift for Peter.[3] Following a near fatal attack by Adam Warlock, the Guardians took Rocket to the medbay abroad the Bowie. Unable to treat Rocket the Guardians flew the Bowie to the Orgoscope and then to Counter-Earth in search of a way to save Rocket's life. During the final confrontation with High Evolutionary, the Bowie was destroyed during the assault on the Arête. [4] |
