Brett Dawson owned a majority of the mortgages in the town of Sundown, Arizona. He inherited them from his father after his death. While his father was a nice man, Brett proved to be a tyrant, known to force people from their property if they don't abide by him. The entire town was stuck with how to deal with him.[1]
