History
Detective Brett Mahoney is a member of the New York City Police Department and was stationed at the 27th Precinct.
He and his partner, Stacy Dolan investigated the death of a John Doe that was unable to be identified by any earthly means. Their investigation led them to the apartment of Jaafar Yoosuf, a suspected terrorist that Dolan had previously arrested for attempting to "buy" super-powers.[1]
He later worked alongside Storm and Logan to find out what happened to a mutant found dead.[2]
