History

Officer Douglas was involved in an affair with her married partner, Eric Bondi, when they witnessed an explosion on the waterfront. When they went to investigate, they startled The Hood, who accidentally shot Eric in the neck.

Brooke met Eric's wife at the hospital and was heartbroken to find out that Eric might not ever recover from his coma.
