History

Brotherhood were enemies of X-Men and known terrorists. They wanted to recruit Alison Crestmere, but X-Men got in their way. Later, Magneto, the leader of the team, was rescued from imprisonment on U.S.S Aribter by Mystique. After that, Brotherhood started attacking various anti-mutants campaigns initiated by General William Kincaid. When Brotherhood tried to recruit X-Men, Sentinels attacked both teams and captured Magneto. Anyway, Magneto managed to cover Earth with asteroids and Brotherhood oversaw transportation of various mutants on Asteroid M. In the end, X-Men stopped Magneto and the Brotherhood.

Later, the Brotherhood were forced to temporarily ally with X-Men against Apocalypse. Two teams together were able to stop the villain, but it's unknown if Brotherhood continued to fight X-Men after that or not.
