History

After the Cancerverse was corrupted by the Many-Angled Ones and the avatar of Death was slain, Hulk was placed under the service of Lord Marvel alongside his fellow Defenders. They engaged Thanos from Earth-616 and were killed. Hulk quickly reverted to Banner and, on the orders of Captain America, Iron Man ripped out his heart right in front of a horrified Quasar from Earth-616.

Death

He later came back to life and aided his fellow Revengers in invading the Negative Zone for the Many-Angled Ones so they could take it over.
