History

Bruce Banner's history is presumably similar to his Earth-616 counterpart's, including first starting out grey-skinned before turning green-skinned.[5] He met the Shadow Person Caiera after arriving on the planet of Sakaar. They fell in love, and Caiera convinced Banner to help Sakaar. However, it would end in disaster as Crown City was destroyed, resulting in thousands of deaths, including Caiera's.[3]

Hulk was devastated and eventually returned to Earth for revenge where he befriended Amadeus Cho. Cho also took Banner's powers, believing that he could use them better. Banner later decided to return to Sakaar to help it. He was aided by his former Warbound comrade Korg, his cousin She-Hulk, and Cho. While they managed to maintain some peace, they efforts often ended in disaster, which resulted in Sakaar's devastation. Banner's final battle was against the Fifth Imperium in order to protect the last remaining Shadow Elders. Banner and his allies held off the Fifth until the Fifth decided to bomb them, despite their troops getting caught in the middle. Banner and his allies survived while the Fifth lost 10000 troops. After that, Banner finally decided to stop helping Sakaar and went into hiding.[6]

Banner was also forced to fight his son Hiro-Kala and believed that he failed to reach him.[7]

Almost 100 years later, Banner was approached by Cho and Cho's granddaughter Tala who asked for his help in freeing Tala's brother Balo and several other Haarg being held prisoner by the Grand Priestess Venkiera. Banner refused, believing that he would only end up causing more death and destruction.[3]

When Sakaar began undergoing tectonic upheaval, Banner knew something was wrong. He was then contacted by Cho who told him that Grand Priestess Venkiera had used a doomsday machine to destroy Sakaar using gamma energy siphoned from She-Hulk. Banner wanted to help, but Cho advised him not to, fearing that Venkiera would capture him and use his gamma energy to make the problem even worse. Cho and his allies later visited Banner and convinced him to help save Sakaar.[7]

Using his intelligence, Cho located Venkiera's doomsday machine, and Banner destroyed it. However, the machine's true function was to stop the spinning of Sakaar's molten core, leaving the planet vulnerable to cosmic rays that the core's magnetic field fended off as part of Venkiera's insane plan to cleanse Sakaar by killing everyone, including herself. Banner was able to reverse this by jump-starting the core's spin by striking it with tremendous force. With Sakaar saved, everyone began making peace.[5]
