History
Several years before Wolverine's second fight with Hulk,[1], Bruce Banner oversaw the Gamma Bomb project in New Mexico. One night, a teenager named Rick Jones drove into the testing site. Banner ran out to the site and saved Jones by throwing him into a ditch just as the bomb went off. But Banner himself was caught in the gamma radiation given off by the bomb, and transformed into the Incredible Hulk. Hulk faced against threats such as the Leader, and fought against other heroes such as Wolverine and X-Factor. [2]
Notes
- Adventures of the X-Men is a continuation of the world set in place by X-Men Adventures, X-Men Adventures (Vol. 2), and X-Men Adventures (Vol. 3), confirmed by the footnote in this issue that said the creators didn't get around to chronicling the first Wolverine/Hulk battle in X-Men Adventures. This in turn confirms the X-Men Adventures and Spider-Man Adventures series take place on Earth-TRN566 instead of Earth-92131.
