—Melter[source]Johnny College ain't one of us. The guy doesn't have the stomach for down-and-dirty street crime- Aaaah my stomach!
History
Melter had dreams of melting his arch nemesis, the Eiffel Tower[3] and making a high-cholesterol grilled cheese truck for hungry baby-boomers.[2] He eventually managed to get married and raise a family.[3]
Melter frequently visited the Bar with No Name and was friends with Armadillo, Poundcakes, Angar, and Tenpin. One day M.O.D.O.K. walked into the Bar with No Name after being rejected from the Soho Lair and proposed a heist to the five which would result in each member getting a substantial amount of money. Upon getting Tenpin's pins from the Pawn shop, M.O.D.O.K. called upon the Super Adaptoid to act as their car. From there, the crew became increasingly distracted by the personal problems of each member; such as Armadillo's struggles with his ex-wife, Angar's anxieties over obsolescence and Poundcakes' experience with anti-mutant prejudice. Eventually, M.O.D.O.K. accidentally revealed that there was no money in this plan and he merely planned to steal Captain America's shield so he could be accepted into the Soho lair, a fact which offended the crew and caused them to abandon him. The crew retreated to Night Loaf, an eatery the crew were regular patrons of. There, M.O.D.O.K. eventually arrived, buying the crew dinner and apologising to them. While initially resistant, the crew eventually forgave M.O.D.O.K., together they decided to revive the plan to steal Captain America's shield but instead hang it in the Bar with No Name. Taking the bus to Avengers Tower, the entire team fell asleep on the way there, waking up they decided the night was worth the fun and bonding experience regardless. As they looked on at the sun, Melter passed away due to health problems.[2]
Legacy[]
Melter's funeral was attended by his family, the members of M.O.D.O.K.'s Six, who disposed of his body by vaporising it in the traditional villain custom, and M.O.D.O.K.'s children. Melter's death inspired M.O.D.O.K. to try and kill Iron Man[3] and to make a fresh start.[1]Personality
