Bruno Klemens was, with his childhood friend Hans Klaus, a participant in Hitler's Jungbund. He, unlike his childhood friend, became a faithful member of the Wehrmacht stationed at a German-occupied town near the Rhine.
When Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos attacked the town and captured some of the "Krauts", Hans could recognize his old friend and forced him to tell where the ex-howler and now ober-lieutenant Eric Koenig had his base.
