History
Bumbler Is a local Brooklyn based costumed supervillain who was inspired by bees to make honey-based weapons and a bee-themed high tech suit. Bumbler met and clashed with Spider-Man (Miles Morales) to get a reputation. During the fight, Bumbler spoiled the cake Miles was bringing for his friend Judge's birthday. This infuriated Miles, who easily defeated Bumbler, after which he gave up the idea of becoming a supervillain, and he replaced Miles' spoiled cake with one of his honey bombs.[2]
However, this wouldn't last long as Bumbler was given upgraded equipment from Rabble and resumed his criminal activities. Despite his upgrades, Bumbler was defeated again by Spider-Man.[3]
At some point, through mysterious ways, Bumbler gained control over the underworld of an area of Brooklyn.[4] During the Gang War for control of New York, Bumbler and his Buzz Boyz fought Frost Pharaoh and his Ankh-Colytes for control of Brooklyn until they were defeated by Spider-Man and the Daughters of the Dragon.[5]
Bumbler was later employed as a barback at the Bar with No Name in Brooklyn. When Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel and Shift confronted Bumbler for Rabble's whereabouts, Bumbler fled to the Bar with No Name, where the three couldn't enter due to being under 21. Spider-Man contacted his uncle Prowler, who was able to enter the Bar and beat up Bumbler for a piece of Rabble's tech. Bumbler was unemployed again after the encounter.[6]Attributes
