History

Cal Brunder was a crooked rancher seeking to force all the smaller ranch owners in Cactusville, Texas to give up their property. With his gang of loyal thugs, and an aging sheriff unable to deal with them, Brunder would make a powerful enemy in Jim Gardley a rancher who he would frame for trumped up rustling charges.

Jim would break out of jail and practice his shooting and other skills in the desert eventually becoming the western hero the Masked Raider. Meanwhile, Brunder would set an example to the other ranches by burning down the Bleck Ranch and shooting it's owner. This would make all the other local ranchers fear him to consider giving up their land to him. However, the Masked Raider would return to town and rustle up Cal's men, making short work of them. Cal would attempt to flee, but would be roped by the Raider who would then turn him over to the sheriff to be thrown in jail.
