History

Calvin Chadwick was a California businessman and politician working in Hollywood in the late 1940s. He was married to Hollywood actress Whitney Frost. Agent Peggy Carter confronted Chadwick at a racetrack while Edwin Jarvis distracted Whitney Frost with an offer of work on a new picture. Peggy at first posed as one of his supporters, before bringing up Jane Scott and dropping the act. Chadwick denied knowing about Scott's death, saying that he cannot reveal any of Isodyne's secrets due to the company's numerous government contracts.

Elsewhere, Detective Andrew Henry was shot by a rookie cop who later received an envelope of money from Chadwick and Whitney. Chadwick congratulated his wife who for figuring out how they would get out of this situation. Whitney hoped this is the last time they have to get their hands dirty.
