Captain America and the new Invaders may be free from M.O.D.O.C.'s mind control, but they are not yet guaranteed their lives, and with the battle nearly won, the Outer Circle have arrived on the ground to collect their prize. - This issue provides the second cipher for the secret messages in this series, and the "translated" secret messages from issue #0 to #5 and an ad for the Captain America & The Winter Soldier one-shot.
- The second-to-last page of this issue issue features a secret message written by a fan named Austin, from Indiana. It reads "GYFB GFHB GYXNBT! YB KOXB LU UXFHF PUOX YNYTLFHB!" and means "Make Mine Marvel! Be sure to drink your Ovaltine!".
- In issue #6 of this series, fans were asked to e-mail Marvel the solution for this series' secret messages. This issue reveals the "results" of it, and, among the fans who e-mailed Marvel:
- No one was able to find all thirteen codes as of the publishing of this issue, with the one from an ad for the Captain America & The Winter Soldier Special being called "a bit too sneaky";
- Beatrice R. solved twelve out of thirteen codes, being the only one to find the code in the second printing cover of issue #1.
- Vinícius Corrêa, Anthony Murray, Charis Pollard, Alex, Jack Wells and Alfonso Navarro caught eleven out of thirteen codes.
