Synopsis for "The Princess of the Atom"
While on leave, Steve Rogers and Bucky visit their friend Frank Ferrule and his sister Dianne on Birds' Nest Island, Maine. After discovering that Dianne has a strange crescent shape scar on her forehead, Frank tells them that Dianne is not his biological sister and that she was found by his parents as a baby on the very stop they are. After Bucky shows her how to make smoke signals they return to Frank's cabin for the night.
That night, strange giants appear and they terrorize ships on the near by lake. Spotting them, Captain America and Bucky counter attack the creatures in a plane and strikes one down. As the news of these giants gets out, Cap and Bucky meet with Frank and they learn that Dianne is missing. They are soon visited by a strange man who warns the trio of men to stay away from Birds' Nest Island or face death.
Ignoring this warning, they row out to the island and are astonished to find Dianne has been shrunken in size. She introduces them to her newfound friend named Ailma and explains that she is the princess of a micro world located in the atom of a rock nearby. She tells them that her world was threatened by a warlord named Togaro and that her parents sent her to the outer world for her own safety, and that not Togaro has tracked her down to eliminate her. Cap agrees to travel to Dianne's world and takes the group back to Frank's cabin where he uses the chemistry set to create more of the shrinking drug that Dianne has provided for them. Togaro hitches a ride on Bucky's boot and while they are creating the drug needed, Togaro feeds it to a cockroach making it grow in size. Cap and Bucky fights it off and then use the reducing drug to chase after Togaro.
They battle him between the grains of wood in the flooring, but Togaro manages to escape. They then go back to the island and take the rock that contains the World of the Atom and bring it back to Frank's home. There they get some of the locals to watch over it to destroy any of Togaro's men who might come out of it with acid and are led by another micro-man named Alt down into the rock. They do so unaware that some of Togaro's men are waiting to jump the humans that have been placed on guard of the rock.
Once they have shrunk down in size and climbed into the rock. The group are briefly distracted when an ant that had hitched a ride on Bucky's clothing suddenly grows in size. As Cap defeats the creature by increasing his size, in the world above Togaro's men make their move. The struggle causes a bottle of acid to get knocked over and spill on the rock sending torrents of acid heading toward our heroes.

Synopsis for "The Mystery of the Air-Mail Marker"
Roddy Colt is visited by his friend Teddy who tells Roddy that his brother Bill is returning home after months on the seas aboard an oil tanker. Both boys go to meet Bill as he returns him and are surprised to find his arm in a sling. He tells them that their ship was hit by a torpedo at sea. He jokingly suggests that his brother -- who sent him letters while he was at sea -- must be a Nazi spy. This gets Roddy's suspicious and he asks what happened. Bill explains that after their ship was sunk he and the survivors were on a raft at sea for two weeks. He then tells them how he managed to avoid injury until after they were rescued and he slipped while checking out a girl on the refugee ship that rescued them, resulting in his broken arm.
When Roddy asks to see the letters, pretending to be interested in collecting the stamps, Bill tells him that he gave the letters to his shipmate Harry Smith who collected stamps. This gets Roddy even more suspicious and he begins asking Teddy what he used to contact his brother. Although Teddy insists that he bought spy-proof envelopes to send letters out to his brother, he takes Roddy to the shop where he bought them. There, Roddy suspects that the owner is selling doctored anti-spy envelopes, but when he presents his case to Bill a look through specially filtered glasses turns up no proof.
This causes Bill to get suspicious and he decides to check up on his shipmate, unaware that Roddy is following as the Secret Stamp. Bill learns that despite going missing, Harry has registered at the same hotel as usual. Confronting Smith, he soon learns that he is a Nazi spy who was using his brother Teddy's letters to smuggle information on and off the ship.
The Secret Stamp arrives and saves Bill from getting shot by Harry, but the two are out numbered when Harry's fellow spies arrive. However, Teddy at this point had contact the authorities who come and round up the spies. Before the Secret Stamp can be thanked he disappears and changed back to Roddy Colt and takes a ride back with Bill and Teddy.
