Synopsis for "The Summoning!"

Modred has stolen Captain Britain's Uniform and is using it to enhance his mystical powers on a tear through modern-day London. He is destroying the city including major landmarks in the hopes of drawing out Merlin for a showdown. In a dungeon beneath the city, Captain America is trying to free himself from his chains next to an unconscious Brian Braddock but is having little success.

Meanwhile, back in New York, Bernie Rosenthal is managing her glasswares shop when Arnie Roth arrives looking for Steve and tells her that now that he has recovered from his incident involving the Red Skull[1], he is planning to move to Florida.

Captain America finally begins to see some progress in loosening the large stone slab his restraints are attached to as Braddock comes-to, excited to see that Cap has answered his plea for help. They work together to free themselves but Braddock frets that without his uniform, he is essentially a normal man and is unable to help much. They manage to escape the dungeon while picking up Cap's shield on the way out and reach the surface where they encounter Modred amidst widespread destruction. He attacks them and demands that Braddock summon Merlin so that he can confront him but Braddock says that he can only do so wearing his uniform. Modred agrees to give it back to him and Captain Britain attempts to bring forth Merlin, but to no avail. Modred is enraged, believing Captain Britain has lied and flies to the Tower of London to summon forth an army of undead made up of deceased wrongdoers buried in its cemetery. Captain America and Captain Britain fight with them before confronting Modred who shoots twin streams of mystic energy at the two. They resist and force the energies back on Modred and incapacitate him. Merlin suddenly appears as an apparition in the sky and says that he will remove Modred from their world and deal with him appropriately.
