Synopsis for "The Skeleton Crew"

When Captain America visits Asp to question her about Diamondback's whereabouts, Asp misunderstands and briefly fights Cap. Meanwhile, Diamondback has spent every cent of her savings in order to procure a new supply of throwing diamonds from the Tinkerer. The Skeleton Crew descends into New York City sewer system, planning to ambush the Hellfire Club after receiving a tip that Magneto (who has abducted the Red Skull) might be hiding out there. Diamondback follows them, and keeps out of sight as the Skeleton Crew battle some of the Club's mercenary guards. When the Black Queen joins the fight, Crossbones, Voice, and Mother Night quickly find themselves outmatched. However, the Sleeper robot is able to knock the Queen unconscious with a single blow. This causes the Hellfire guards to pause their assault. Mother Night takes advantage of the guards' hesitation and causes them to hallucinate that their on fire. Captain America then appears and tries to protect the injured Black Queen, unaware of who she is. She is just about to feed on Cap when Diamondback (who had previously seen the Queen try to feed on Voice) renders her unconscious again and tips off Cap about the Queen's vampiric abilities. Not wanting to tangle with Captain America, Mother Night renders the Skeleton Crew invisible. The Black Queen awakens and attacks Diamondback, while Captain America fends off the Hellfire guards. At that moment, a cave-in pins the two heroes beneath a pile of rubble.
