- In recounting parts of his orgin this issue, Steve Rogers mentions "Floating in the waters of Newfoundland" again. Although Rogers was described as being in the Newfoundland area after the infamous explosion of the drone plane with Bucky Barnes as early as Avengers 4, some sources have described the explosion site much closer to England.
- The Atlantean "Hana" makes her debut this issue. She will be a recurring character in this title through Captain America Vol 4 16.
