Synopsis for "The Winter Soldier: Part 3"
Told in Dossier style, the untold history of Bucky Barnes is revealed. Bucky survived his apparent death in the explosion of 1945, losing his left arm. He is rescued from the icy Atlantic Ocean by Soviet officer Vasily Karpov. Karpov replaces his arm with a bionic one and reprograms Bucky into a merciless hitman for the Soviets, who use him to assassinate several Allied targets. Bucky is often frozen in cryogenic states between missions preserving his youth.
All of this information is presented to Steve Rogers by his good friend and Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., Nick Fury. To be continued!
