Captain Mare-vel was one of the farm animals who through unknown means (though the farmer said they were either mutants or some combination of multiple super-hero origins all rolled into one), gained powers. Professor Video hosted "Science Berserk" and visited the farm, where Captain Mare-vel was shown warning Eelektra from attacking Ducktor Doom and later fled at the arrival of Goose Rider. He, along with the other animals suddenly vanished.[1]
