Synopsis for "Deadly Genesis!"
After the events of Captain Marvel #34, Rick Jones is trapped in the Negative Zone and is attacked by Annihilus, but is then switched out by Captain Marvel who can only stay on Earth for 3 hours at a time. Annihilus takes Captain Marvel back to his lair. The Supreme Intelligence contacts Rick and tells him he has the ability to control Captain Marvel, who Rick uses to attack and subdue Annihilus. The Lunatic Legion sends their agent, the Living Laser, to kill Rick Jones. But Rick is rescued by Ant-Man and Wasp who were in the same hospital at the time of the attack.
