History

The Carbone Crime Family were infiltrated by the Punisher. Due to the threat that the Asian and Middle Eastern mobs posed to the Cosa Nostra, the family attempted to convince the American and European branches of the Cosa Nostra to unite. The Cosa Nostra held a summit on the Isla de Tiburon in the Gulf of Mexico. The Punisher and Shotgun slaughtered every capo at the summit.

Rosalie Carbone, then seized control of the family. Under her leadership, the family was a major player in the underworld. It financed the drug trade for the East Coast, was involved in the bookmaking and policy rackets, and had influence over trucking and New York City's food center.
