History

Absorbing Man united with other super-villains in order to overthrow the heroes and take control of the country. He was one of the villians who killed Hawkeye's Avengers team which was betrayed by the Thunderbolts. After absorbing magic from Scarlet Witch's corpse, Creel was super-charged with an electromagnetic storm by Magneto, giving him enough power to pummel Thor to death.
