History

The serial killer Cletus Kasady bonded to the offspring of the Venom symbiote, and became the super villain known as Carnage.

At some point, Carnage joined forces with the Ultimate Alliance to defeat an impostor Carnage who led a team code-named the "Insidious Alliance". Carnage personally delivered the final blow, and was later able to replicate the impostor's appearance.

Much later, Carnage allied himself with the Ultimate Alliance once more, in order to fight back the Fold, a hivemind of sentient nanites that took over and controlled the bodies of numerous heroes and villains.Carnage and the Ultimate Alliance is able to beat the Fold.[1]
