History
This Carnage Symbiote's history is presumably similar to its Earth-616 counterpart.
Like its Earth-616 counterpart, it bonded with the insane serial killer Cletus Kasady. When Venom's son Dylan Brock became the villain Codex and plotted to take over the world, Kasady volunteered to join the Sym-Soldier Program created to combat Codex. With help from Rex Strickland and the program's science officer Reed Richards, Kasady's violent tendencies were subdued, which presumably caused the symbiote to stop becoming violent as well. When Codex successfully took over the world, Kasady and the symbiote joined the resistance effort.[1]
While investigating an incident involving the Avengers, the resistance came upon the Venom of Earth-616 and his son Dylan Brock. Kasady and the symbiote were nearly attacked by Venom after Kasady introduced himself due to Venom's past history with Earth-616's Carnage, but Agent Venom was able to convince Venom that Kasady and his symbiote were allies. When some of Codex's minions attacked, Kasady and the symbiote fought Juggernaut alongside Venom before retreating.[2]Personality
Like his counterpart he is a ferocious symbiote with an unprecedented bloodlust and gleefully revels in killing. Although Cletus' bloodlust could be controlled, the symbiote's still remained latent.
