History

Carnage most likely had the same history as its Earth-1610 counterpart. During its confinement at the Triskelion, S.H.I.E.L.D. attempted experiments on the beast, by placing it in close proximity to a fragment of the Tablet of Order and Chaos. This would prove a mistake; however, as Carnage gained enough power to break free from its captors. It also gained the power to reanimate any of the people it fed from as copies of itself. Spider-Man entered the Triskelion to battle and defeat the beast. S.H.I.E.L.D. returned the life-form to confinement, with Spider-Man returning the tablet fragment to its original dimension.
