Kenneth Neely | You can't beat them. You see? You're incomplete. You'll always be incomplete without the Carnage symbiote. What you are now? It's nothing compared to what Carnage has become. Don't you want that power? Don't you want to be... perfect? |

Synopsis for "Finale"
Clad in a suit of black and yellow Iron Spider Armor, Spider-Man gushes about how energized he feels, Iron Man replying that's just the nanites hyperoxygenating his blood and that they need to focus on stopping Extreme Carnage. Firing their repulsors, the Iron Spider and Iron Man blast Extreme Carnage back, but he returns fire with a beam of energy from his jaws. Shielding himself and Miles, Iron Man is blasted into the ground and regroups with the Scorpion and Hightail. Iron Man informs them that his armor is equipped with an EMP that will destroy the Extrembiote, but only if it's detonated from the inside. The Scorpion asks if this makes him a real member of the real Avengers now, Iron Man rolling with it. As Miles expresses reluctance to kill Cletus Kasady, Iron Man says they don't have a choice this time.
As the makeshift Avengers attack him, Cletus gleefully urges them to hit him with everything they've got if they want to stop him, roaring to summon his horde of brainwashed civilians. The three symbiote-corrupted suits of Iron Man armor join the fight, to Iron Man's dismay and disgust. Watching from her helicopter, Agent Julia Gao remarks that things look bad, Kenneth Neely gleefully saying that all the pieces are set for Cletus' final masterpiece. Contemplating throwing him out, Agent Gao asks the Scorpion for a sitrep and is told they're outmanned and outgunned. As the Red Goblin regains consciousness, Agent Gao tells him to get back into the fray and help turn the tide, Kenneth remarking that the final player has taken the stage. Blocking energy beams from the Carnageized Iron Men, Iron Man wonders how Cletus is controlling them and powering their suits; Miles narrowly evading. Turning to address Extreme Carnage, Lance thanks him for the honor only to be dismissed as a mere puppet. The other two Carnageized Iron Men pursue Miles, opening their faceplates to reveal nothing but tendrils of crimson ooze as they declare their intent to either kill Miles or Carnageize him once more. Elsewhere, the Scorpion tells Hightail to use her super-speed to clear a path, Hightail retorting that she needs enough room to get going first. The Red Goblin lands between them and helps the Scorpion clear enough space for Hightail to speed-blitz the horde of brainwashed civilians, leaving her out of breath. Charging himself with electricity, Miles attacks the Carnageized Iron Man that used to be Lance, who sneers that Miles can't kill what's already dead. Scanning the suit, Iron Man realizes that the men inside have been consumed by the symbiotes, the other two Carnageized Iron Men attacking him only for Iron Man to unleash a sonic wave that incapacitates their symbiote components. Taking stock, Iron Man notes that Cletus doesn't have a human body anymore, but his consciousness is merged with the Extrembiote -- making every drop of it an extension of his being.
A gob of Extrembiote strikes the window of Agent Gao's helicopter, Kenneth Neely taking advantage of his missing hand to slip free of his handcuffs and bonding to it. Hijacking the helicopter, he rants that Cletus has chosen him and that Agent Gao doesn't understand that Cletus is to be humanity's savior. Agent Gao bails and is caught by Miles as Iron Man shields the others from the helicopter crash. Noticing that Kenneth survived and rebonded to a piece of the Extrembiote, Extreme Carnage takes it back -- also reabsorbing the offshoots formerly piloting the Carnageized Iron Man suits -- and promptly impales Kenneth. Sneering that his "intern" should have seen this coming, Extreme Carnage consumes Kenneth's body before declaring his intent to do the same to Miles and Iron Man. Damaging Iron Man's gauntlet to disable his repulsors, Extreme Carnage declares that he's more powerful than ever thanks to them. Iron Man decides to go with the EMP plan. Miles volunteering to keep Extreme Carnage distracted as it charges.
In the Symbiote Hive-Mind, Cletus is dismayed to discover that Kenneth's consciousness survived as a codex, though Kenneth is ecstatic to be a member of Carnage's Hive. Kenneth notes that even if Cletus kills Spider-Man and Iron Man, he'll always be incomplete without the real Carnage symbiote, Cletus admitting he's right and deciding to finally join his beloved Other in its quest for godhood. Kicking him in the face, Miles chides Cletus for being distracted, but Extreme Carnage takes off -- saying that he'll return once he's reunited with Carnage and become a god of destruction. Miles calls him a coward, Cletus deciding to add one more body to his talley before leaving. Narrowly evading Extreme Carnage's attempts to eat him, Miles keeps him distracted long enough for Iron Man to charge the EMP. Diving into Extreme Carnage's chest, Iron Man withstands the Extrembiote's attempt to assimilate his armor long enough to set off the EMP, obliterating Extreme Carnage and freeing the berserk civilians from Cletus' control. As Miles asks if Cletus is dead, Iron Man notes that his suit barely has enough power left to run the essential routines but it looks like that's the case -- and he's desperately hoping it is since they can'd afford a third round with him. As Agent Gao is patched up, Scorpion and Hightail celebrate getting ten years off their prison sentences. Iron Man takes back the Iron Spider suit, having fully healed Miles' wounds and repaired his Spider-Man costume.
Summoning a Quinjet, Iron Man drops Miles off at his apartment. Surprised to see his baby sister Billie, Miles reminds himself that they're roommates for the time being. Jeff and Rio Morales greet him and ask if he's OK, Miles assuring them that he'll be fine... though they don't completely buy it. As they hug him, Rio says they're just happy that he came home safely and that whatever evil he was fighting is gone for good.
Amidst the wreckage of the battle a piece of the Extrembiote stirs, forming Cletus Kasady's face.
