The Carnyx War Horn was a magical Celtic wind instrument used as a weapon by the Celts, notably against the Roman Empire legions.[1]
Modern era[]
It was one of the numerous magical items stored the armory of a dark witch living in Manhattan whose help Wilson Fisk and Doctor Strange sought in order to contain the infestation of creatures from the Darkforce Dimension that plagued Manhattan when it was encased by a Darkforce dome by Hydra.[1] The horn was one of the objects Doctor Strange described to Spider-Woman, using its secondary effects as an example of the dangers of using the items in the armory.[2]Properties
Powered by dark magic, the Carnyx War Horn gives its user the ability to command winds and rain. The blower might survive using this weapon, only if their heart be true, though most certainly with injuries like bleeding ulcers and a brain tumor or two.[2]
