When Earths of two realities were about to collide, Captain Marvel joined the other heroes in saving the world. With only a little over an hour left before the Convergence, she saved Spider-Man before he plummetted into the ground. She fought M.O.D.O.K. and K.D.O.O.M., but after defeating them noticed that K.M.O.O.D. had retrieved the vial and went back to activate the anti-matter bomb. She punched him into a building and removed the core, depowering the machine. Dodging attacks from the other two M.O.D.O.K.s, Captain Marvel found herself at the front of the Sanctum Sanctorum. Doctor Strange appeared and incapacitates the villains with magic. Numerous A.I.M. troopers and mechas arrived and surrounded the two heroes. Reinforcements arrived for the heroes either on their own or via portals conjured by Strange. They ultimately failed to stop the Convergence, but Vision saved everyone by using the Convergence Engines and his own density-altering powers to merge the two worlds, as well as several others, together peacefully. This created a new Primary Earth, in which multiple different realities became fused together. Spider-Man joined the Omega Flight formed to protect this new world while also trying to solved the Convergence permanently.

Captain Marvel journeyed to another Earth to recruit another version of herself into the Omega Flight as well. The other Carol was pulled into that reality by A.I.M. and was about to destroy A.I.M.'s dimensional gateway, even knowing that would trap her on the wrong side from her own reality. Captain Marvel of New Stark City emerged out of another portal and stopped her counterpart, warning her about a bigger threat than A.I.M. The two Captains Marvel headed into the portal to Primary Earth. Arriving at the Omega Flight Headquarters, New Stark City's Captain Marvel invited her counterpart into Omega Flight.[1]

Notes
- Captain Marvel wears the "Modern" outfit in the Prologue and the "New Stark City" armor after the time skip. It is possible that she is Captain Marvel from Squad 12, however this cannot be said for certain as "New Stark City" outfits are worn as more by one version of others characters such as Doctor Strange and Iron Man.
