History

Carter Slade once made a deal with Mephistopheles that would turn him into the Ghost Rider. He was the first one to turn against Mephistopheles and, later, became a mentor to his successor Johnny Blaze. He could only became the Ghost Rider one last time and he used this last time to ride with Johnny before walk away leaving Johnny in his own.[1]

Powers and Abilities

Powers

  • Demonic Transformation: Carter Slade possessed the supernatural ability to transform into the Ghost Rider.
    • Hellfire Manipulation: As the Ghost Rider, he possesses the ability to generate, control, and project mystical fire, or "hellfire" and infuse it with his horse so that it travels at extreme speeds leaving a fire trail in it's wake.
  • Longevity: He has lived for centuries, despite his elderly appearance.
