Carver Robertson is the father of Robbie Robertson, and a close friend of the Parker's. During the Depression, Robertson normally supported for the Republicans but instead voted for Democrat Franklin Roosevelt after hearing his economic recovery plan.
When Robbie was missing, Carver and his son's girlfriend Gloria meet with the Parker's and shared their grave distress believing that Robbie has been captured or killed by the American Nazi-sympathizer organization, the Friends of Germany. Indeed this was true, as Robbie was tragically detained and lobotomized by Dr. Otto Octavius. Leaving him into a permanent zombified state. Carver and Gloria were left to take care what was left of his son.[1]
