History

Cary Loudermilk is a mutant who shares a body with his twin sister Kerry Loudermilk. Their parents are Native American, and when Cary, a white boy, was born, his father suspected his mother of infidelity. It took several years for young Cary to see his sister, and even then he at first believed she was imaginary, until he realized that she lived inside his body all the time. Because Kerry only aged when she went outside, she remained teenage-looking by the time Cary was in his fifties.[1]

Cary eventually joined a group of mutants led by Melanie Bird in Summerland.[2] He administered help to David Haller in discovering his powers,[3] and later worked with Oliver Bird to help the group to escape from Shadow King on the Astral Plane.[4]

After David disappeared for a year, Cary with the rest of the Summerland crew joined the Government organization Division 3, which previously used to hunt them down until David brokered a peace with them by explaining that had a larger common enemy. They attempted to track down Amahl Farouk for a year until they found David, who believed he only was missing for a day.[5]
