History
Cassandra Nova's history is presumably similar to her Earth-616 counterpart's. She was inhabiting the mind of her brother Charles Xavier when Xavier was bisected by Power Princess. Nova was forced to flee Xavier's body and entered Magneto's. She remained in hiding for years as she slowly recovered. When she had enough strength, she impersonated Xavier and tricked Magneto into thinking that Xavier was hiding within his mind. Magneto was able to access where Nova was hiding with help from Emma Frost. Magneto was alone when he freed Nova and realized too late that he had been tricked. Nova took control of Magneto's body and reshaped it into her own physical form. She then used her power to banish the Squadron Supreme from Magneto's mutant refuge of Island M before appearing and telling Island M's inhabitants that she would help them out of the darkness.[1]
