History
Though Cassandra Webb lived with blindness and years of declining neurological health, she developed powerful psychic abilities that allowed her to thrive as a respected medium. Her unique gifts eventually drew the attention of the U.S. government, and she was brought into S.H.I.E.L.D. before the widespread emergence of mutants.
In her early service, Webb became one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s top code breakers and interrogators, using her abilities to extract information others couldn’t. As the organization evolved and mutants—particularly telepaths—became more prominent, Webb’s role shifted. Rather than being sidelined, she adapted, taking on the critical task of serving as a telepathic anchor and support figure.
Webb now coordinates communication among young telepaths who help monitor field agents worldwide. Additionally, she offers mental and emotional support to agents with histories of psychic interference or manipulation. One of her most frequent visitors is Special Agent Wolverine, who seeks her guidance as he navigates his complex past.Attributes
