Synopsis for "Cataclysm: Ultimate Spider-Man, Part Three"

A passenger jet coming into New Jersey is struck by Galactus and goes into a crash landing.

Elsewhere in New York City, Miles Morales has just revealed to his father that he is Spider-Man while Miles tries to convince his father to let Miles take them to safety. The two have an extended confrontation in which Miles' father is appalled that his son has powers and refuses to be saved by him. Their argument is finally interrupted by the crashing jet, which Miles goes after to help whatever passengers might have survived. Spider-Woman meets Spider-Man at the plane, and while the two of them are saving passengers, Miles finds the final remaining passenger is Daily Bugle owner J. Jonah Jameson, whom Spider-Man brings to safety. The new teenage superheroes Cloak & Dagger appear and begin helping Spider-Man and Spider-Woman transport people to safety by teleporting groups of the passengers through Cloak's cloak to a hospital. As J. Jonah Jameson passes through the teleportation cloak, he promises Spider-Man that "when this is over [he] is going to change [Spider-Man's] life".

Miles returns to his father's house where he told his dad to wait, but he cannot find him. It is at this time that Miles receives a call from Captain America, informing him that they have a plan to stop Galactus and they need Spider-Man's help to execute it.
