In 1968:

• Doctor Doom detected a time anomaly in 1871 Dodge City and decided to travel there, research the anomaly and look for any profit. He hired super-villains Sandman, Mysterio, Black Knight and Scorpion as support. All of them were eventually defeated and returned to their time by 1989 time-traveling heroes.
