This is what I'm trying to say-- this is his fight. These are his demons. We may think we know best-- we may think he's wrong-- but hasn't he earned the right to make that choice himself? I mean, come on-- This is Spider-man. There's a reason they call him the best of us. It took me a while to figure it out. The Peter Parker I knew was a very different guy. This one is the real deal. A hero. No matter who tries to stop him, he's going to do what he believes is right. And if we told him that's how he'd die? Well, I'm guessing-- he wouldn't have it any other way. Friends never cease to amaze me. I always expect them to up and vanish. Like a plant you forget to water. (Which reminds me: Buy MJ a new orchid.) But they're hardier than plants and come with more benefits. They push you out of your comfort zone. Like making you ask out a boy you like... they can be your strength. Or give you a different perspective on life. Help you see things from a new angle. They don't have to know you as well as a clone... you just have to be willing to let them be a part of your life. There are going to be more losses. I know that now... hunting down Lyla is going to be a dangerous game. She's made it clear she's willing to hurt people to get to me. I can't let that stop me. I have to keep going... I have to keep getting better. Maybe even a little badder. After all... if there's anything I've learned from this, it's that we all have a little villain in us. Who says that's so wrong?

Every thread has an end... but you never realize just how tangled it can get before you get there. I've been pulling at too many threads... Black Tarantula, the TVA, moving to a new Earth, saving Chameleon... each thread threatening to unravel all I thought I knew. But now... the threads are converging. This is where they tie together... a knot I can no longer avoid... a truth I can't thwip-thwip my way out of. This is the moment it all starts to come together... or fall apart.

I know what you're going to say. "This is a bad idea, Gwen. B-15 told you not to. Reality Shards are dangerous, Gwen. You know this. They're just little bits of the Reality Stone, but they can still wreak havoc. They could be responsible for the dreams, et cetera et cetera..." But here's the thing. If this is a hallucination... then why did the code I saw in my dream work? I think Sylvie and B-15 are wrong. I think we're being led here for a reason... and I'm going to find out what it is.

I had to leave my Earth and the friends and family I love... all to ensure that King Loki couldn't destroy the universe... all to ensure that King Loki couldn't use me, a living Cosmic Cube, as a weapon.

The Cube bonded with me the second I touched it, like it had been waiting for me. And I'll admit it--I thought maybe that meant something. Like lifting Thor's hammer or something equally epic. For a second, I let myself believe I was chosen... that I was worthy. But I'm just a girl in a hoodie with some webs and a knack for bad timing. I'm not special... not like her. Not like the Phoenix.

I don't want to write another ending. It's time for something different... a new beginning.
