You! If you think I'm gonna waste my Maybelline ultra-lash on a half-pint husband -- Dream On, Hank Pym -- Dream On!
How unseemly for me -- the most stylish Avenger -- to go into combat draped in a napkin! Instead of "Avengers Assemble", my battle cry should be: "Please don't squeeze the Charmin!"
Hawkeye, She-Hulk, I'd like to officially welcome you both. From now on -- you're one of us. We're one of you. And we're all -- THE AVENGERS!

Wasp sting in the face, Bozo! You like that? This time I came armed -- aaand so did your guys. Great.
Hank Pym was a hero. In every sense of the word. A complicated man. Cursed by many Demons. Hank was a dreamer. The kind this world tramples. He wanted to make the world better. To give to everyone something he had never been able to accept himself. During our marriage, during his bouts of depression, he'd tell me that all he ever wanted to do was to stop feeling. To move through life without every aspect of it causing him so much pain. I believe that more than anything else, led to the creation of Ultron. He created a life that knew neither pain or suffering. A being that could experience the wonders of creation while avoiding the pitfalls of human emotion. But he put too much of himself into the machine. The rage of Ultron was never Hank's intention, but it was unavoidable. It was always there in the background, tormenting him. So of course it seeped into his son. Ultron was at once an amazing achievement and the greatest possible mistake. And knowing what he'd unleashed... Hank was never free of guilt. But he never stopped dreaming. Never stopped trying. And I think that just goes to show what a great man Hank Pym was. If the rage of Ultron, if such self-loathing and vile hatred existed within my ex-husband... The fact that he was able to dedicate his life to the service of other people is remarkable. Hank Pym was an astonishing man. And if there's some part of him, still out there, somewhere, listening. I hope one day he'll let himself see that.
I still have Hank's living will, Steve. In bold letters it says "Do not resuscitate." In the event of a tragedy -- he didn't want to be a half-corpse hooked up to a machine -- but look at him now! Look at him, Steve! Ultron murdered Hank, and now he's wearing his face!
Wherever you are, Hank... I'm going to get you for this. Here goes Janet Van Dyne, the feelings Avenger.
Everyone thought I was gone. But I was lost in the Microverse. And when I came back... the way I got through it was by not picking up where I left off. I saw it all as a second chance.
I deserve just an hour of sunbathing, Namor. It's the lea-t I'm owed after I had to swim through sea-monster snot. If you don't want to wait, feel free to leave without me.
Do you ever feel like your life isn't quite right? Technically it makese sense -- most of the details fit. But something's missing. Some domino never fell... and now everything's different...?
A hundred years from now, when we're all dead and buried, there will be only two things that we're remembered for... what we did. And what we looked like. Our uniforms are as much a part of our legacy as anything we'll ever do.
I was an Avenger. If someone had taken six lives because they thought nobody would care? I'd make it my problem.
Ant-Man | Wait! Before we separate, the Wasp and I have something to say! Each of us has a different power! If we combined forces, we could be almost unbeatable! |
Iron Man | Work as a team? Why not? I'm for it! |
Thor | There is much good we might do! |
Hulk | I'm sick of bein' hunted and hounded! I'd rather be with you than against you! So, whether you like it or not, I'm joining the... the... Hey! What are you callin' yourselves? |
Wasp | That's right! We need a name! It should be something colorful and dramatic, like... the Avengers, or... |
Ant-Man | "Or" nothing! That's it! The Avengers!! |
Iron Man | We'll fight together, or separately, if need be! |
Hulk | I pity the guy who tries to beat us! |
Thor | We'll never be beaten! For we are... the Avengers! |
Iron Man | I tell you we've got to find the Hulk! So long as he's running wild, there's no telling what he'll do! |
Thor | Iron Man is right! So says Thor! |
Wasp | But how do we find him?? |
Giant-Man | He's one joker you can't find in the classified ads! |
Giant-Man | What's buzzing around me? Oh, Jan... it's you! |
Wasp | How nice! You remembered my name! |
Giant-Man | Forgive me, pretty girl! I was concentrating so hard I didn't hear you! C'mon, make yourself large enough for me to put my arm around you! |
Wasp | Mmmmm! Now you're talking my language, handsome! |
The Wasp | You look pretty cheerful, Hawkeye! There must be a female in your future! |
Hawkeye | There sure will be, if I can help it! |
Wasp | Hank... have you noticed how silent the Vision has been? |
Yellowjacket | Small loss... that inhuman voice of his gives me the creeps anyway! Perhaps it's just as well! |
Wasp | What about the race that built the citadel? Will they ever come back? |
Hank Pym | If they do, Honey, then Hank Pym will fight them with a test tube-- the Avengers with super-powers. |
Goliath | And a prayer, old buddy. Don't forget that. |
Paladin | Jan! Where the Devil are are you? |
Wasp | Right here silly. Why do you think I'm called... The Wonderful Wasp? |
Paladin | Because you're a White Anglo-Saxon Protestant? |
Wasp | Well, yeah, there's that... But mainly because I"m wasp sized, winged when I shrink... And I pack a mean sting. |
Wasp | Any regrets, Hank? |
Giant Man | Always. But as long as you're with me, they don't matter. Let the new team have the spotlight -- I'm still the luckiest man alive! |
Wasp | Awww! |
Wasp | You know what, Hank? |
Yellowjacket | Yeah? |
Wasp | I haven't been able to say any of this... the way I've wanted to for a long, long time. I trust you, Hank. And I love you. |
Wasp | I promised myself I wouldn't use the Avengers to hide from my life's problems anymore. |
Ms. Marvel | No one's asking you to do that. We're asking you to do that which you can do better than anyone in the world. |
Wasp | Well, when you put it like that... |
Wasp | You can stay here. |
Vision | That is not logical after I came to kill you. |
Wasp | Before Hawkeye was an Avenger, he was a criminal. Before I came here I was nothing but an heiress. The Avengers are about giving you a chance to start over. You just have to decide what you want that start to be. ... You make your own choices. Create your own path. You come up with a vision of what you aspire to...and then you work to make it happen. |
Vision | A vision. |
Wasp | Anything come to mind? |
Vision | I would have a name. |
Wasp | Then I guess you better start thinking. That's yours to decide. |
Jennifer | What about Tony Stark? |
Janet | I'd rather not discuss it. |
Jennifer | Oh... kay... |
Havok | You know, if this wasn't a mission to stop genocidal twins from performing a rapture... with the Moon and everything... |
The Wasp | It would be a bit romantic. |
Captain America | More so if I wasn't here. |
Nadia Pym | They need to fill out a form for me and I need a last name, but I've never really had a last name before. |
Janet Van Dyne | Okay? |
Nadia Van Dyne | And I thought, Pym makes sense, right? My parents' name. Why wouldn't I choose that? Except I never knew them and I don't know what they were like, and my last name should mean something to me. And I could only think of one last name that meant anything to me. And it's Van Dyne. But I wanted to ask you. Because it seems like it would be weird if I just got your last name and didn't ask or-- |
Janet Van Dyne | Yes! I would be honored. |
Janet Van Dyne | Whatsamatter with you? |

I am reserving judgement at this time. |
