You want a Spider-person, Normie? Face it tiger ... you just hit the jackpot!

What If...? Vol 1 105

You try to picture the puzzled expression on your dad's face when he suddenly realizes that his stalker has vanished and you have to smile because you really enjoy playing his guardian angel.

Spider-Girl Vol 1 1

I don't want anyone to ever suffer because Spider-Girl failed to help when she should have.

Spider-Girl Vol 1 4

But we have to stop at my spider-cave.

Spider-Girl Vol 1 6

No matter what pain or misery awaits me-- this is a Spider-Girl world!

Spider-Girl Vol 1 17

Let me guess,my dad used to beat up on your dad? You know you can't call yourself "Electra", right? I mean, I realize it wouldn't be the same spelling, but still!

Spider-Girl Vol 1 51

I'm free for the rest of the afternoon and I'm perfectly willing to give you separate fight scenes.

Amazing Spider-Girl Vol 1 2

It's still a Spider-Girl world!!

Amazing Spider-Girl Vol 1 4

Just so we're clear... I freely admit to my failings. I depend to much on instinct when I should be using intelligence-- and I still have lots to learn. But I'm no poseur or glory hound. I do the best I can. And I take my responsibilities seriously. Very seriously!

Amazing Spider-Girl Vol 1 19

Easy?!? Running a gauntlet of former Avengers may be many things, American Dream. Easy ain't among 'em. Even Stinger's near misses are bruising my bruises. And, at the risk of annoying repitition, it's now Spider-Woman.

Spider-Island Vol 1 2

I keep thinking about what Scott Lang said to Hope. Swelling on Dad's death made me a danger to myself and others. I'd rather be defined be how he lived--and what he believed. I've learned there are other Spider-People in the Multiverse--but I am the only one raised by a happy and loving Peter Parker. That makes me unique and special. My name is May "Mayday" Parker and I am the daughter of Spider-Man. I love you daddy--and always will!

Spider-Island Vol 1 5

Who are you, little symbiote... and why did you kidnap my baby brother?

Kid Venom Vol 1 4

My father looked up to his Uncle Ben--

Benjamin Parker (Earth-982)

Dad used to tell me stories about him. He was a hero who died before I was born.

Benjamin Reilly (Earth-982)

You've no idea what he means to me. He's my world. All the family I have left.

Benjamin Richard Parker (Earth-982)

You're supposed to be a master of illusion -- who can manipulate reality. Truth is your enemy. It can only restrict and dimmish someone like you.

Maguire Beck (Robot) (Earth-982)

No matter what pain or misery awaits me -- this is a Spider-Girl world!

May Parker (Earth-982)

You're a disease, Osborn. A sickness that feeds upon itself, destroying everything it touches. Normie used to idolize you and would have eventually been consumed with hatred if he hadn't renounced you.

Norman Osborn (Earth-982)

A home. A family. That was his dream. All he ever wanted.

Peter Parker (Earth-982)

It is useless to run, Ms. Parker. I'll find the two of you eventually and devour you both.

No. You won't. To save my brother... and to avenge my family, I swear... I'll break every vow I've been taught. All the values my father held dear. And I will kill you.

When, next we meet, little Spider... and we shall meet again... you are more than welcome to try.

My Dad's Uncle Ben taught him to stand tall. Does the phrase "With great power comes great responsibility" ring any bells?

"Must also come." A subtle, but profound, difference. There's no guaranteed link between power and responsibility. Too many focus on the former without any regard for the latter.

I don't know how I appear on the outside. I'm barely functional on the inside. Struggling to keep putting one foot in front of the other. Was sparing Daemos an act of cowardice? Or compassion? Would killing him led to closure-- or a deeper depression? Did I honor my dad's memory or add to his humiliation?!?

All good questions Spider-G... Uhhh... May. Wish I had answers. I don't. I doubt anyone does. You need time. A lot of it. The pain will never quite go away. But it'll eventually be easier to cope with.

I knew you'd understand, Stinger.

Hi. I'm Spider-Girl, but you can call me Mayday. So? What brings you to Earth-982?

It's a Spider-Verse thing.

Ugh. Say no more.
