Medium Awareness

Characters who have at some point displayed knowledge they exist within any fictional medium.

These characters can manifest it by directly addressing the reader (breaking the fourth wall), interacting with medium elements such as speech bubbles or panel gutters, and/or displaying knowledge only available to those from the real world.
