Such listing are sometimes listed because of

• The repetition of fan-errors through the Internet (ex:Owl)^[1]
• Copy-pasting from alternate versions
• Global application of the mutant word for:
  • Some realities dominated by mutants protagonists. (in the Exiles series for example)
  • Mutates and other enhanced humans mistaken for mutants.
• Powered child of mutates, thought to be mutant because they're born with their powers (but without an X-Gene).

In order to prevent for such cases to occur again, are listed here mutants who need a clear reference.
