History
The mutant known as Catscratch was cryogenically preserved in the Bio-Shops for generations until uncovered by Garth Simenon, the Graverobber. Graverobber reanimated Catscratch as a member of his Undead to hunt down Zail Haddad. Catscratch and the Undead clashed with the X-Men until Graverobber was defeated by a neural-shock bomb, undoing his power and reverting the Undead to truly unliving status.[1]
