This dictionary and lexique list some terms used in Centaurian language, or terms and expressions in English or other languages but used by the Centaurian, or already translated in English or other languages.

B

  • Bhkta: "The moment when one becomes aware of an unavoidable danger". It is period in "slow motion" before engaging combat. The way to deliver the Koro is decided during that period.[1] Also possibly a mild clairvoyance common to all Centaurians.[6]

C

  • Circle of Life: Circle of reproduction and life of the Centaurians,[7] their "holy path".[1]

H

  • Habaktu: "Warrior holy man",[1][8][9] or "Holy Man",[6][8]. Also named as "Anthosian priest".[10]
  • Hakta: "Ordeal of manhood" ritual, sacred ceremony.[11]

  • Tahlei: "Crest". The red crest (often confused for a fin) present of the head and back of the Centaurians, composed of compressed hair follicles, and seemingly with a role in their sexuality.[14]

  • Unseen world: Presumably the afterworld of Centaurians (see "Anthos").
