Synopsis for "The Beast From the Bog"
An alien from the planet Nalrah is rescued from a tar pit by a retired couple visiting Florida from Cedar Rapids. The alien tells them the story of his race's need to rejuvinate every two thousands years in order to maintain their immortality, but he landed on Earth and was trapped in the tar pit for a thousand years. In gratitude for there help, Chalo bestows a small amount of his life energy on the couple, causing their bodies to become youthful once more, than Chalo departs to return to his homeworld.

- "The Music From Beyond" is adapted, by special arrangement with Arkham House (publishers), Sauk City, Wisconsin, from the short story "The Music of Erich Zann" (written in December, 1921; published in National Amateur, March, 1922) by American author H.P. Lovecraft. "The Music of Erich Zann" was later adapted again in Haunt of Horror: Lovecraft #2.
