After escaping the Trustees' lime pit, the Blaze was held at gunpoint by Lara. Lara then showed the Blaze the Trustees' power by using a special hate ray to force Borsia's greatest speaker to break out into an anti-Gratzia tirade.

Lara later returned the Blaze to the Trustee's castle hideout. After two attempts to kill the Blaze failed, the Blaze tossed Dr. Vortex into the Trustees' lime pit to die. Without their leader, the group fell apart.[20]

After Emma Frost and Spider-Man escape, Dark Beast orders Lars to check equipment that could have been damaged during the fight. Shortly thereafter, he struck Emma Frost from behind as she was destroying Dark Beast's equipment, but was quickly defeated by the Lizard.[39]

After Shroud clashed with his men, Lassiter contacted the leader of the Cult, Yannroth, who would unleash his killer, Kâli, against Shroud.[42]
After explaining to Yannroth that he was not working with Shroud but that he was his enemy, to show his intentions he arranged a meeting with Garrick King where, however, there was also the Scorpion that captured him.[43]
Lassiter and Scorpion also took King's wife hostage to force him to hand over the money, and after obtaining it they went to meet with Yannroth but after Shroud revealed that the money was counterfeit, Yannroth had Lassiter killed.[44]

In the 19th century, The Leftenant worked with the Ingolstadt jail when several prisoners disappeared. He tried to get Colonel Blackstone to open an investigation but he refused to so the Leftenant began investigating himself. On his way to Castle Frankenstein, he ran into Frankenstein's Monster which the Leftenant attacked but was knocked out. Later, after recovering he found the monster chained up being held prisoner by the Colonel who was killing the prisoners and turning them into his mindless slaves using a Giant Spider. He fought the Colonel but was seemingly losing when the chamber began flooding and the spider escaped. The Leftenant fled begging the Colonel to flee too instead of dying.[64] His fate after the castle crumbled is unknown.

Leiberthal

Mr. Lynskey was an elderly neighbor of Kamala Khan, a former convict who had learned to love books in prison and when he came out of prison he started running a free library, working to get people in the neighborhood to read by donating books and accepting them from those who wanted donate them.[193]

Immediately after the death of the king of Phaselis, Lython attempted to oppose the appropriation of Holy Spear of Achilles by the Order of the Hydra, but for this he was killed.[194]
