He then kidnapped her, disguised as an evil wizard, and took her home to a mountaintop cave. He then defended her against the intruders and the individual adventurers who were trying to rescue the queen, until Conan defeated him and unmasked him. As the Cimmerian learned the lovers' story, he decided to leave them in peace and discouraged the king from sending more men.[366] |
