When the Nazis captured and imprisoned his wife and daughter, Zenish decided not to help the allies anymore. Having understood the problem, Nick Fury together with the Howling Commandos went to the prison camp where the two women were held and freed their daughter, while Zenish's wife had died during her imprisonment. When Fury brought his daughter back to Zenish, the latter restored his cooperation with the allies in revenge for the death of his wife.[18] | |

Ziemowit was the only one of a group of warrior-peasants who attempted to oppose the invading Tartars to survive by fleeing the massacre. Not being a hero like his father Piast, however Ziemowit was helped by Ares in facing the Tartars and finally, after Ares killed many enemies he killed Ziemowit too making his people think he died a hero by defeating his enemies .[23] |
